WG Employment meeting and mutual learning, Madrid, 27-28 September

EUROCITIES Working Group Employment will meet in Madrid, on 27-28 September to discuss cities' initiatives on ‘fighting long-term unemployment (LTU) of people aged 45+ and developing 21st century skills’. The event will include a WG meeting, a high-level panel debate and a mutual learning experience.

The art of the trade deal includes cities

Ruptures in large-scale trade negotiations, and differences in trade outlook with the current US administration, risk weakening the delivery of public services to EU citizens. A spate of bilateral trade agreements, including with Japan, have followed. However, these only address delivery of essential services and citizens’ concerns on an ad hoc basis.
