Want to travel, all expenses paid, to other European cities to work on best practices on migration and integration? Our EU co-funded project, CONNECTION, is now offering places to eight cities to join in study visits and share their integration best practices and challenges at EU-level by developing ‘how-to policy’ guides. This is an opportunity to both improve your own local policy and lend your insights to other cities.
You can choose between the following themes:
- How to develop a strategic approach to integration, participation and interaction
- How to build a gender dimension into integration policies
- How to build pathways to employment for migrant
- How to design one-stop-shops as an integrated response to integration needs
Our CONNECTION project promotes transnational learning on and implementation of integration policies. The cities already taking part in this project are Antwerp, Athens, Dortmund, Gothenburg, Madrid, Paris, Rotterdam, Sofia, Tampere, Turin, Thessaloniki, Utrecht, Warsaw, Zagreb and municipalities in Piemonte Region.
This call offers the opportunity to 8 additional cities to join the discussions and learn with others. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the project.
